Seems I recall that the Winchester pumps were model 1300. And, the semi-autos were 1200.

I have a Winchester model 1200 pump. They replaced the model 12 in 1963. I also have model 12s. The Remington 1100 is an auto. Hank

Correct Hank. I too have some Model 12s and the predecessor is the 1200.

1200, 1300 are pumps, the 1400 is the semi auto.

The 1300 is virtually identical, and replaced the 1200. I think the 1200 was 2-3/4 inch only, and the 1300 opened that up to allow 3 inch.
