I am, and I'm pulling for Tyson, though Paul is the favorite by far. I'd still like to see Tyson pull off a decisive win. The fights are being aired on Netflix starting at 8pm ET. Tyson/Paul are expected to start at aprox. 11pm ET

I can already hear the negative comments in 3...2...1...

Got fed up with Netflix and cancelled about 6 mos ago so I won’t be watching tonite. I also gave up on boxing for the most part years ago so I’ll be content with highlights. Am a little pissed about not seeing it but not that big a deal for me.

Love to see it but I don’t have Netflix, so it won’t happen. Rooting for Tyson, like to see him educate the YouTube wonder. Truth is Paul has probably improved a lot just getting ready for this match. I’d have to say there’s a lot better chance for Paul to get knocked out, than Tyson. Tyson has worked pretty hard getting ready for this.

But, it's just an exhibition match,
Exhibition matches can be brutal.......remember how Apollo Creed died? BRUTAL !!! :ROFLMAO:

Seriously though, I will watch. I remember back in the day having parties at my apartment for the Tyson fights....if you went to keg to refill your cup you most likely missed the entire fight as Tyson usually took care of business quickly.

I have to admit Tyson is in great shape for his age and still has the skill set, but does does he still have the power? Joke Paul (oops, I mean Jake) is low on skills, has not fought anyone aside from very inexperienced level boxers and old OLD boxers. I'm wondering if they will even allow them to really fight and not just heavy spar. I'm pulling for Big Mike.

Long gone are the days of Ali, Frasier, Norton, Shavers, Holmes, ETC....glad I was around to have seen those fights...for free on ABC Wide World of Sports typically.

It they haven't cut a deal with each other to half-ass it, it should be a good fight. I'd like to see Iron Mike put Paul to sleep but that boy sure can take a beatin'...... so who know's what'll happen.

My daughter has Netflix so I'll be watching if I get the TV controller ;).
Like most here, I want Iron Mike to win. He turned into a hood but he was one tough dude.
I hope he still has the power.
When Tyson fought Marvis Fazier, a bunch of us went to a friend's house to watch the fight.
As the friend went to get beers, the fight started, and ended, in under a minute. By the time he got back from the fridge, it was all over.

No matter what the script says, Mike is to get $20million and Jake to get $40million....
I'd fight either one for $10million.....at my age, it would last 10 lifetimes :)
No netflix here....please let me know who wins...I'm guessing yewt will conquer old age fer sure..!!!!

J.

I would imagine that Tyson was paid to ensure it goes several rounds but it would be hilarious for him to drop JP in the first minute

^ he was an idiot YouTuber. At this point he's a reasonably decent boxer and has a 9-1 record. Not everyone he's fought were big time boxers but he's actually pretty good.
If you want to know how good. Vegas odds are 65%/35% Paul to win.

Did anybody else's Netflix crash after the 2nd fight? All I'm getting is buffering now on my TV and computer. Nice...

Yes. Pixilation issues.....infocus then out of focus the freezes. I've had to get out and back in several times. It was crystal clear for a bit but now its back to being blurry and freezes and starts buffering.

Apparently it is a Netflix issue. I believe this is the first live streaming by Netflix and they were not ready for it.

This is frustrating.

I’m still watching but all the build up is getting old. Teddy Atlas said it well, the punch is last thing to go. I’m hoping Tyson’s legs get him in range to throw it. I never saw Jake fight so don’t know. I go to a boxing gym 3 times a week but don’t spar anymore….I’m 75 ….just play at it, jump rope and bag work but
I know that 16 oz gloves don’t help much if the other guy has a fast moving sledge hammer in them

Netflix crapped out big time. I missed the 1st six rounds of the Taylor/Serrano fight. The last 4 rounds were absolutely unbelievable! Those 2 women fighters are absolutely beasts in the ring. Either one deserved to win!

I'd hazard a guess the network system the stadium is using isn't able to handle the amount of viewers. I don't think Netflix has ever had a live event with this many viewers, worldwide, all at once. You'd think they woulda planned for this but I'm not surprised they didn't.

I kept going back to the Netflix home page when it would get stuck, then click on the fight tab again & it would clear up....but it happens every few minutes, then is good for about 10 minutes, then starts up again. Technology, huh?

I had to back out of it, click live and fast forward to where it should have been. Not good. It buffered for over 20 minutes.

Yeah, as soon as it starts to hang up, I back out. It reconnects for me right away but it's a pain to keep doing it. Oh well, were gonna have to work to watch it I guess.

Mikey's got nothing to dominate with, keeps hanging back, not diving & attacking. Paul's having his way.
A lucky knockout shot is Mikey's only hope.
