Who has the new Redhawk 45LC/ACP????

Look for any of the multiple discussions already done on this model.
No need to re-hash it all for you, it's been thoroughly covered.

Would it be a good bear gun? For really big bears such as Grizzlies, Browns or Polar?

Come on P89Dc,,, we all know a properly loaded 45 Colt can handle a bear. There are plenty of "bear threads" here to answer that question.

Large grizzly or polar, ONLY chance would be with something like Buffalo Bore heavy .45 Colt "magnum-level" loads.
Which are not fun to shoot in it.

I Love mine, but I never shoot 45 acp. I only use it for 45 Colt. I really like the round but grips with it.

I was interested and did not get one as I understand the moon clips from S&W 25s do not work in them and I have a couple S&Ws and piles of moon clips. But big bear? When I boony bang I carry a Blackhawk in 45 Colt and some some of the year the first two chambers have shot shells for snakes and the rest are loaded with Ruger/TC Contender only rounds. O.K. for the small bear one might encounter down here in the SW but I would not want to try it on a Grizz.

Yes, they are unique to this beast....... ........haven't owned but one other gun that used them so (other than $$$) I don't understand why these companies don't try to standardize this type of equipment.

On a happier note.........the speed loaders from the 25 work like a champ in this gun.......
