Which Small Rifle Primers...Does it make a difference?

It shouldn't matter as long as you reduce the loads per manual instructions when changing from the brand used in data.

If you use the wrong brand of small rifle primer it will blow up your barn and maybe your neighbors barn too. Primers are extremely explosive and have been wrecking barns for years; I've heard many stories of such! So be very very careful. (Sorry, I really couldn't help that.) The answer to your question is: No. Gerry

Dick Casull always recommended Remington 7-1/2 primers. So, that's what I ALWAYS use in my .454 loads.
