Which Mini

I decided on.223. What are the advantages of each configuration, other than cost, between the regular Ranch and the Tactical with the regular stock. Just want one for all around use. I guess the main difference would be the flash hider. Your opinions would be appreciated.

I think it is your call... "all around use" is kind of hard to interpret....

I'd go with the tactical.

Id go with the ranch rifle so you have the scope option in case you need later. I know I wish mine was a ranch rifle.
My glasses tend to make the rear peep egg shape rather than round

Depends on what you like. All the new ones are marked "ranch rifle" The tactical has a shorter barrel and the flash suppressor. I love my tactical mini. I find the shorter barrel to be a little more handy, but they are all great rifles. I personally don't care for the "tacticool" version with the ATI stock, but to each his own. I think the tactical with the standard stock is hard to beat.
