I was thinking someone might know of a distributor, or shop that has one in stock.

I'm pretty much in the same boat -- I'd like to buy a new one. However, I'm not actively searching for one at the moment. I saw one in the display case at my local gun shop awhile back. Shoulda grabbed it.

Finally found one in stainless at Bud's Gun Shop. I guess they only had one because right after I put it on layaway, status went from "buy now" to "out of stock". These things are hard to come by. It will be a nice addition to my SP101 2" and GP100 4" blued. I posted this on Ruger.net but thought it ought to go here also.

Why not go for a used one on Gunbroker for $299 to $350? They are available....

I believe those are 4". The OP was looking for a 3".
