I don't know, guess is, it's police. Beretta made them for Browning also. Called the BDA 380. They were nice guns. Big 380, 13 round mag as I recall. The one I had shot well. I placed a bid on one on Gun Broker. Bid the minimum, suspect I'll get it. It's a tad rough but the price is ok.
