I'm guessing this has a detachable mag but the spec sheet didn't say so. Will these mags fit in the older 223/5.56 ranch rifles.
Says it takes an AR style mag.
WTF

The magazines are detachable and they use the AR-15 pattern magazines. They do not take the magazines for the older 5.56/.223 American and American Ranch rifles as these use the 5-round rotary magazine.

I have the rotary model. I called Ruger and they said you can not convert the rotary to the AR mags.

I just got a 10 shot magazine from Lucky Thirteen Precision and it works great in my rotary 300 Blackout model.

@ironhead: Where did you find the lucky 13 magazines?

I too have a rotary american ranch, chambered for .300 BLK, and would like a higher capacity magazine. From what I can find, the lucky thirteen magazines are manufactured and sold in Australia. They list a lone USA distributor as "Black Arsenal" in michigan, but when I go the the black arsenal website, they don't show any lucky thirteen products.

Edit: Sorry. Just saw your lucky thirteen thread, located a little lower in this forum section. I guess I need to look harder in the website. I'm curious about the price.
