The center one, 4" bull bbl. From what I have seen most of these are Lipsey's with a gold trigger. It is bascially box stock with smooth grip panels. I bought it from the original owner. I may have the plastic Ruger box for it, but I think it is unlabelled.

Is it unique at all? It shoots great. No plans on moving it, just curious.

That's an MK4B. Pretty sure it came standard with black checkered plastic panels though. The earliest serial number I've noted is 221-64276.

Well, dang, are the Lipsey versions that rare? Seems to me that the gold trigger and wood grips were the only changes from a standard 4 inch heavy barrel MK II? Anybody have an idea how much Lipsey versions were manufactured?

I do recall a MK4B with the thumb rest grips being a cataloged model years back (early 90's) but I'd never seen one for a long time.

I have a 1998 Ruger catalog that states: "The MK-4B has smooth, laminated hardwood thumb-rest grips."

There you have it. Looks like I need to revise a paragraph in my reference: :)
