What kind of eagles on 1969 SBH--Got my answer--Thanks

Howdy all. Can comeone please tell me what the proper eagle was on the grips of the 1969 Super Blackhawk. I would appreciate it, Hank.

They were black eagles up to around early/mid 1971.

There are three different types of black eagle medallions used with the Super Blackhawk. There are what I call pre-66 medallions with thin feathers, post '66 medallions with thick feathers and the neckfeather medallions that were used in the 1967 time period.
To make your gun right, you need the post 1966 medallions with thick feathers.
