A frosted looking stainless look. Has ALL WEATHER on it.

Not a "stainless look", but simply stainless steel with a medium-grit, "brushed" polish, basically Ruger's standard polish for stainless. I believe "Target Grey" was a finish applied by tumbling the parts in a coarse medium leaving a darker, less-polished surface.

It's just called stainless to me.

I agree because blue is always prettier anyway.

Target grey is ... grey because the stainless is finished so coarsely.
Blue is nice.
But I've gravitated to stainless. Especially for most of the guns I shoot regularly.
Although I'm still searching for a all weather Red Label to join my working gum stable.
Stainless is just so much more forgiving when you wait a few days to clean them up.
And the small imperfections can be buffed out like they were never there.
If I had the time to flitz wax guns to the shine I see on this forum I'd own more blue guns than I already do.
I do plan on having a beautiful plum blued Flatop as soon as the right one crosses my path.
