I have not done any for a while now but wood carving folk art is one of my past times. My mother keeps this on the wall of her home and I picked it up and brought it home to rub a little oil into it as it was looking a little dry so I thought I would share. This was a fun project.

I've been into woodworking for 20 years or so. Carving is the thing that intimidates me the most. Turning is about the most free-form/creative thing that I can handle. Carving is too much like drawing, which I don't do well. My hat's off to you. Nice work.
 
I once tried to make an albino snake out of a twig. It turned out terrible. You're skills are about a billion times better than mine. You are a true artist!
