I have decided to do a semi 10/22 build... what a terrible decision..

Well first a picked up an old boat paddle stock, then i picked up a 10/22 to replace stocks, and now all i am doing is browsing RimFireCentral.

With all the reading and learning I order a few things tonight becuase they were calling my name and there are a zillion things you can do to the 10/22 yourself.

While i do enjoy a DA revolver, and SA but favor the DA, this 10/22 stuff can be modded out and made exactly like you want it without machine work or sending off the barrel/gun/cylinders, becuase im not to the point i can do much on my own.

Well this new found interest fun may cost me some money but i will enjoy doing it. I order a rimfire technology charging handle and buffer... and also order a set off sights that i think will work very well... aperture styled sights with a attached see thru mount...

Hopefully this set up will be a squirrel killing machine with the iron sights and a 3-9 on top.

here is the company i ordered from if anybody is interested... very anxious to get them in.

and PS... the guys at Rimfirecentral arent any worse than all you addicts here... both forums just bring out the worst/best in my decisions.

I cant thank you all enough, especially flagate, for making this forum the best I have even been apart off.

I built my 17M2 Charger from parts sourced at Rimfire Technologies. Greg builds some good stuff. I popped off a 1" 30 shot group today at 50 yards and I am pretty happy with it.

My newest 10/22 came from a few vendors, but you're right about being able to do a lot of fun stuff without having to go to agunsmith for every little job you want to do. I put a DSP stock, Power Custom guts, and a Tac Sol pac lite barrel on it. Its a little light for target work but great for gophers.

I did check out KIDD... Everything i have read says nothin less than stellar about their parts... Only reason a went with RT handle is becuase i got the one piece matte black (or tactical if you look at their parts list) handle where as the KiDD was silver. The black will go with my overqll setuo better i think.

Bolt handle? Kidd offers it in black.

Its on backorder until end of the month... i get to anxious to wait.... by may go that route on the next 10/22

I know what you mean about RimFireCentral. I especially like the ultimate 10/22 picture thread. Some of those are just works of art. Last year I ended up ordering a barrel and trigger group and bolt through Kidd because of RimFireCentral. So far I'm extremely happy.
