I stumbled across this poor lonely USFA wandering around looking for a home. I brought it home for a couple of reasons. First of all, it has one of the hard to find bisley spurred hammers and secondly because not only is the hammer case colored but so is the grip frame and the ejector rod housing. The first USFA I have seen finished this way. Oh and I like the caliber designation on the barrel. 44 Russian

Not really a nickel fan. I love the case hardened and the bluing they use!

I agree Gary and ivory would be my first choice but the stupid ivory rule change screwed that option up. The OP gun will likely get exhibition French walnut while the birds head will look for a new home. Just have not had time to get some more pictures taken and get it listed.
