Have you checked with some of the custom gun smith's. When they take barrels off they put them aside. Just a thought.

Not if the owners wants it back. I've done a barrel swap or two I get MY
barrel back wouldn't you? Never had a smith offer to buy it. So why leave it? ps

4 5/8 is not a standard barrel length for a 44 mag. Blackhawk. You will have to get a longer barrel and have it cut. Or you may be able to find a .44 special barrel in 4 5/8.

I might have just what you need. It's an original 44 Flattop barrel that's had the front sight modified so it's not good for any collector gun. But as Street said you could have it cut to 4 5/8" and installed by a gunsmith.
