While not a Ruger product, there are many knowledgeable people here so I ask. A seller has disclosed to me that the barrel on his P1/P38 post war civilian model, has a hole in the barrel near the breech block. He thinks it was a manufacturing flaw. My question is can the barrel be relied upon in this condition? Can it be mended? Should it be replaced? All opinions welcome.
