Vortex 4-12x40 Crossfire Rifle Scope

had a 6-24x50 crossfire on a 17hmr. had no issues with it. it was hefty tho and added a lot of weight to the rifle. not sure about the smaller scope.

I have a Vortex Diamondback 4-16x44. It's been great so far. It's mounted on a Savage 12, 22-250 and I've been shooting w/it for about a year now. It's been knocked around a little and still holds zero, actually to tell a little story on myself, it took about a 10ft drop off my back deck. Landed right on top of the elevation turret and burried in the ground past the cap. Picked it up, cussed a little, knocked off the dirt & inspected it, slid a round in, looked down the hill to my 200yd target & squeeezed the trigger. Bang, "PING" goes the steel. A little scratched but still on the money. I have a Crossfire on a Savage MKII .22 3-9x40 and shot it last weekend. Great scope for the money, in fact I just ordered another earlier this week.
