saw this on their site and was wondering why it needed to be sent to a FFL ? it's just the trigger group not the receiver , any ideas ?

TG2000 with Rapid Release

Our TG2000 Trigger Group with our TG2000 Rapid Release preinstalled.

Specs

  • CNC-machined from 6061 Aluminum
  • 2.25 lb trigger pull
  • Adjustable for pretravel and overtravel but not pull weight
  • Only compatible with right-handed rifles

  • This item must ship to an FFL dealer.

No reason for it to be shipped to a FFL, it is not a serial number part of the firearm. I did see this at the bottom of the page that gives their address and other info:

All serial numbered items must be shipped to an FFL dealer. (my bold)

Volquartsen does make serial numbered parts (ie. Mark series upper receivers that have serial numbers) and those DO have to go to a FFL.
