Veterans Day

I salute all the Veterans living and dead for their service. It doesn't look like much with all the 'crispy critter' bandages but it's there.
Through our own Civil War, WW2, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East my family didn't lose a single soldier on the battlefield---we are fortunate for this and appreciate our good fortune.

Thank you to all the brave men and women that have served in the military.

Today is the one day of the year I insist that I will not work. As a vet,, I take today to remember all my relatives who've served, the only casualty that I'm aware of (RIP uncle Freddy D-Day, Normandy.)
So today, a fellow vet or two & I will meet for lunch, and enjoy a bond that we all feel.

To my fellow vets,, "Thanks Brothers & Sisters!"

And yes, as Frank has mentioned, remember the families as well. They too served,, just in a different way.
