Vaquero 9mm mod

I have a pair of original sized Vaqueros', in 357. I want to convert them to 9mm. I have researched the site and found that a special run of convertibles were made for Talo.

So I think I should be able to make up a set.

My question is what 9mm cylinders should I be looking for? Old or new model Blackhawks?

All Vaqueros are 'new models'. The older Vaqueros like yours have the same frame size as the 'new model' Blackhawk. There have been convertible 357/9mm guns made in both models. There may be some 9mm cylinders out there for sale but they will have to be fitted to your guns and that might require a gunsmith and detailed measurements of the cylinders. 8) 8)

$160 for the pair or apiece? If for the pair it's probably a decent price, if it's each I'd think it was a bit high. I bought my 45 acp blued cylinder for $100. I've seen them go for as low a $70 (which is a great deal for the 45 acp).

You'll want to compare the overall length of the new cylinders to your original. A longer cylinder bushing can be shortened, just have to watch the cylinder/barrel gap. A shorter one is a littler harder to make longer and you may run into a larger cylinder to barrel gap.
