I saw a nice (about 95%) 77 MK II for sale today in 7.62x39 caliber. It has a blued barrel and action and a black synthetic all-weather skeleton style stock. I am considering buying it for a general purpose shooter to carry in the truck. The asking price is $395 with rings but no box or papers. I paid about $450 for one NIB a couple years ago that was found in the back of a stock room but am keeping it in the safe. What were the approximate production numbers of these, and what do you think about the price? It seems about right to me. Thanks for any replies.
