Today, for the first time ever I saw a used SR9 for sale. This was at the busiest gun shop for miles around, they sell the crap out of SR's and I've never seen a used one in stock. This seems to bode well for the SR pistols, apparently not many people want to give them up. I know I don't want to give up my SR9c, it just gets better every time I shoot it.

By the way, the gun is a stainless fullsize and they're asking $345.00 for it. If anyone is interested the shop is Mike's Guns & Archery in Frankfort, KY, 502-223-8120. I don't stand to benefit from selling it in any way, just thought someone here might be interested.

I paid about $30 more than that for my new one about 4 yrs ago. Good news is that it looks like they pretty much hold their value. Its a very nice firearm that appears to be popular.

A new one of the same configuration is $419.00 at the same shop. On rare occasions I've seen them as low as $379.00 when they can get a good deal from the distributor.

Man, I was lucky when I bought my SR9 for $299 @ Hoffman's (They have awesome sales) in Newington, CT. I probably wouldn't have purchased the SR9 if it were near $400. I'm glad I bought it, it's a great pistol. It has been a very worthy successor to my longtime carry, the S&W 639. Knowing that now, the SR9 is well worth $400.

Mike's very rarely buys guns outright unless they're going into the owner's collection. I would say the original purchaser probably just traded it in on something else.

I see them here in the Commonwealth occasionally, usually at the high end of the $350-400 range used. I paid $450 new, but that was a couple of years ago when it was the ONLY SR9 around. The value hasn't dropped much at all here if the used prices I've seen are any indication. Seems like demand is strong and when the shops put a used one up for sale, they don't last long.

Of course, this is the Commonwealth so you can expect to pay a little more than in the free states of America. That's OK, I support my local people 100%.

I think someone really needed the money. Sign of the times! :(
Not really. Hoffman's Gun Store, here in CT., buys guns in such huge volume they sell guns way below other gun stores. Besides the new SR9 for $299 sale last year, I bought my new LCP for $249 two years ago. Check their website, they always have low prices. Currently the Ruger SR22 is under $300. A friend bought a new S&W 9VE last year for $249 You can always get the best price on a new gun there, but they'll always insult your intelligence if you try to sell them a used gun or attempt a trade-in.
