Viking Queen pm'd me recently asking about my dog. (thank you mam) It was a long haul but he's in healing mode, and has turned the corner. Still has some open sores but they are so much better. I don't think to often about praying for a dog but I do believe your prayers and concern has helped. Now to approach the company that started the problem to see if they are going to stand good for a big pile of bills. He's starting to get back his old personality, which had concerned me a lot. He wouldn't eat for a long time. As most of you know that if a Lab isn't eating he's thinking about eating and now he's back to that. We still have to have the Cone (of silence) over his head so he doesn't lick himself and keep his sores going and doesn't like it but I think that's helping . Thanks so much for all the advice and concern for him.

Very happy to hear that he is getting his appetite and personality back. It sure has been a long haul for the poor little buddy.

I wish you much luck in collecting on the vet bills. Too bad you can' t collect for pain and suffering too. That would keep you all in steaks and BBQ for decades.

I will continue prayers for his full recovery, and for you to recover for all of the bills. Maybe you all can celebrate that with a "cone of shame" destruction ceremony when this is all over with. :D

Hugs and prayers for all!

Glad to hear your dog is doing better and hoping for continued improvement. They are often more family than the two legged ones who always want something other than food, Food, FOOD...and a belly rub!

That is good news BPJ. Once appetite returns full recovery can't be far off! As I sit here, my 14 year old Kuvasz/husky mix is at my feet. Dogs give us so much devotion and unconditional love. Continued prayers for full recovery, as VQ stated- including the monetary too!

What an ordeal to go through. One of the worst parts of seeing an animal hurt is you can't communicate directly with them. Best of luck and prayers for a complete recovery.

Many thanks for the update. It is great news to know he's "turned the corner."
While I detest lawsuits, (and Miss Penny works for a lawyer,) I would strongly consider having an attorney look into this case.
Animal cruelty is not something taken lightly anymore. If that won't work, take it public. Facebook, local news stations, anybody who will listen.
Post the pictures, the details etc. If they won't pay the bills, sue them.
