Sent to Turnbull for the treatment.... after all is said and done, I think I have a great poor mans Cooper...

That's one great looking rifle, and perhaps the most accurate pseudo-factory 77/22 I've seen. What did you do for accuracy mods? I've always wanted one of those riflese but the accuracy of the ones I shot turned me off. Thanks for sharing those photos.
 
Now that is one sweat gun. I would love to have that. If you don't mind me asking, what did you have done and how much did it cost?

I had the receiver, rings and sling studs color case hardened. I had the rest of the metal rust blued. They had a special running so I think it was $600-$650.
 
That's very tasteful, form and function. I have been using CCI (old lot) and Remington sub sonic loads with excellent results in my 77/22 and Kimber 82C.
 
:shock: WoW :shock: VERY nice! The little 77/22's have always been a model I liked but never had that extra push to get one. (only ever see no-sight models anyway :( ) Seeing this fine specimen makes me kinda wanna start looking. That's just a very nice, very classy looking rifle. 8) :)
