Well the BIG SHOW was almost over for another year.....things were winding down and that's when I sprung my plan    this little BC4 had been in my sites for almost 2 years....it all started 2 years ago when I finally meet the man, the myth, the legendary RUGER collector Mr Henry Bone :!: :!: :!: We immediately hit it off, I don't think Henry actually knew what to think when he meet someone who was as crazy about RUGERs as he is
Well we started calling each other and one thing lead to another and this BC4 was mentioned one day..... Henry asked if he had sold it to me several years ago when he unfortunately parted with some VERY GOOD GUNS ( I did get some of the good stuff just not this one)..... I said I wish I had bought it but no I did not have or know it's whereabouts.....well this started Henry on a search and rescue mission
Several weeks later I get a call from Henry and he says he had found where it was hiding...only one problem.....the present owner was willing to sell but you had to buy the WHOLE COLLECTION    all 52 other BC4's......well Henry stepped up and accepted the challege    The only bad part for me was that Henry once again fell in love with his old gun    I did get to see it at Tulsa last year since I begged him to bring it so I could at lest see it one time.....
Well this year I had a plan.....I had another of Henry's old guns and I knew if I could catch him in the right frame of mind we could make a deal.....well my plan worked and I now am the proud owner of the only D and S marked Bearcat known.....80145D with a little S on the bottom :!: :!: :!: sometimes your plans work and sometimes they don't....I got lucky...thanks Henry. Here are a few pics.....and a little history on the gun....it was sold to a factory employee as a second....then as you can see he got his $10 once a year discount on it.....lets just say I have slightly more than the $11.18 in this gun that the original owner paid....RR.
