Tried a digital camo paint job

I tried a digital camo job today. I cut 12-1500 little squares of masking tape and I spent most of the day on it. It is an Mossberg 100 with a 30+ year old Tasco and it shoots better than I can, under an inch easy. Why do these cheap pawn shop finds shoot better than my nice rifles?
I may do the camo job to my all weather 77 too.

My son camo painted a Savage .243 a few weeks ago using a mesh laundry bag as an overlay. Just did two colors, a flat sage green base coat and flat tan details. I thought it looked outstanding. I'll have to try to ge a pic of his gun. Yours looks great, BTW!
