Howdy all. I am looking for tracer ammo in several calibers. I have 06, gave my g-3 to my son and he took all of the tracers, so need some .308. I have maybe 150 9mm tracers and maybe 1000 in .223, and am looking for some in .45 auto and in .30 Carbine. Any help or information would be appreciated. Thanks, Hank.

Run a Google search; there are several manufacturers and folks selling tracers. Ammoman.com, for one, comes immediately to mind.

Thanks for the response. I found a place called Ammunition to Go. They have a full supply of everything. Thanks again, Hank.

While they do look cool they can be more corrosive & of course can start a fire. Those are the 2 main reasons I don't seek them out. Not to rain on your parade though, try them out if you desire. I'm sure kids will like them.

sourdough44. I have been using tracers since '69, and was only 19 and those who were teaching me did not worry about fire. I have close to a thousand tracer rounds now, both in .223 and in .308. Found some in 9mm and also in .45 acp. Those are for night work and if used, fire would be the last thing to worry about. Mostly I use the pistol ammo in my Ingrams, where an adquate sight cannot be managed, and I shoot them by instinct, and tracers help that out some. I thank you for your thoughts, and I am about 40 years beyond cool now.lol Best to you and shoot well buddy, Hank.

I shot them in the military too. I do agree the fire hazards are small, depending on conditions. I also agree they can be fun, maybe I need to try some again.

They are fun, but I do not play with them. Well, maybe a little bit.lol I will do some distance shooting with my G3 with tracers, and a little with the MSAR, but not much. Those rounds for the Ingrams are not for play, except to see how the guns hold from point position. None of them shoot to point of aim, at least none of the old open bolt ones. Does not take long to know where they point though. You should try some again. They can be a kick. Just don't forget to clean your bore. I had a rude awakening once with a Mini 14 because I forgot an early lesson, clean the barrel.lol It costs to be stupid sometimes, as I seem to find out regularly. Take care, Hank.

We have a gun store around here with people of qeustionable intellegence. Any how there bright idea was to try a couple boxes of tracer in August on our sagebrush gunclub at lit it up.
