got 19 signed up.
night birds friday night then the main event sat.
a local 10 year old passed my interview. he's a dead aim with a youth cynergy 20ga. will most likely beat 1/2 the grown ups and win the match!

For the last two years I have stayed at the Quality Inn in Forestville, NC to attend Contender's 'gathering'. Both years I have encountered a group of shot-gunners going to some competition. Any idea what, and where, and have you ever attended or heard about it?

overcast no wind. so far so good. the fellow coming from arizona broke down. hes out.
too bad. he would have won the farthest traveled award.

looks to be fast moving. odds are it should be gone by tonights opening shots.

good time had by all. 15 year old girl took 2nd place. was beat out by a fellow from tenn who only won by 3 points.
an old marine beat me on the 50yd line by hitting his bird on the 3rd shot to my 5th. remember, i shoot in proxy for last place. last place almost won the trophy!
what a match.
