I like em, but certainly not to that extent. I’m up to one in my collection.

I have quite the hammer collection. Couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger on a hawk. I like the CRKT offerings though. I picked up a CRKT Kuk to fill in the gap as a woods cutting tool.
Nice for when you have to "Ax" someone a kweshun.....

I found this in my Dads stuff. The handle was broken so I shortened it and rehung it with epoxy.
I think it is a hand forged head. Look how dark that patina is. It's been around a long long time. I have no idea were he got it. The handle looks like his work. He liked carving spirals.

Chief AJ was a friend and he sent me one of his Flying Fox throwing axes a couple of years before he died. I also keep a short fire axe by my front door. Nothing says welcome like a mean bastard swinging an axe.

I have quite a few too. Multiples in my truck, my camp trailer, and scattered throughout my sheds. No matter what I'm doing, I have immediate or otherwise easy access to a hatchet, tomahawk, Woodsman's Pal, or other choppers.
Council Tools in Wannish, NC make a fine array of fine edged tools, think axes, hatchets, bush axes, entry tools, ….

I always liked the Hudson Bay pattern axe. I had a nice Snow and Nealley one many years ago but it grew feet with a lot of my other stuff. I have an Estwing Hudson Bay that is all steel with the blue cushion handle. Now I think I have to buy a Snow and Nealley to relive my younger days!

Don't have any of those but they are really neat.
I carry a Woodsman’s Pal in all of my vehicles. I figuring would be great for clearing brush or inner city deadwood.
That urban undergrowth will just dull your blade... It's like weeds, you get rid of them and others take their place
Have 2 or 3 pipe tomahawks. All packed away for move.
I ended up getting a Snow and Nealley Hudson Bay pattern axe to replace the one that grew feet many years ago. From what I have been reading Snow and Nealley was importing axe heads from China and putting them on handles here before they went out of business. Someone from the Amish community in Maine resurrected the company and is producing 100% American content axes and hatchets again. I have one of the new ones and it's a nicely made axe.
