I recently purchased a used Mini 14.
It had an ACCU STRUT installed on it.
After shooting the gun I don't see any advantage to it.
So I was wondering others opinion on it.
Is a worthwhile add on or just another gadget.

I picked up my mini sans accu-strut and groups were so so. I installed the strut x-drill and groups did tighten. I didn't take measurements or anything but I think it helped. I use iron sight usually around 100yds. Fun as hell to shoot!

I will try that.
Shoot the gun with it on and again with it off.

So what is the logic behind it.
I heard it helps prevent barrel whip , but I would think the bullet is already out of the barrel before the barrel moves ?

Have one on mine along with the Tech-Sight. Saw an improvement with each one.

From other threads in this forum on this subject it seems the struts help some with the older Minis but not really with the new tapered barrel ones.
