I spent 2 hours this morning setting a gravity flow wagon box on a different running gear. For those non-ag folks, a gravity flow is just that--a grain box that angles toward one side which has a sliding gate. The boxes are asymmetrical and can be mounted to unload on the left or right depending on choice. A "running gear" is another name for a 4 wheeled wagon.
Anyway, I spent 2 hours mounting this box on the wagon and when I pulled it out to the line of other wagons being prepped for harvest, I realized it was dumping on the WRONG SIDE. Blame it on distraction or whatever but I certainly wasted 2 hours PLUS the time to reset it going the right way.

I agree with Pistolero, I've read a lot of your posts on you don't seem to be off your game. Sounds like you are awfully busy. We all forget things, we are trying to remember a lot more than people did 50 years ago.

It's not such a big deal for me but the guys at the dump pit get hissy if they have to walk 20' to the other side to dump.
Yeah, "active and busy" is no kidding.
Tomorrow I head to St Lou for 3 days training. I seriously dislike going to the big city-but it pays well. I expect I'll have to tutor a bunch of co-workers on map reading which tests my patience big time-but it makes me look good with the administration. Besides that, I've got a meeting with the agency National Director about my promotion which keeps getting postponed-but I gotta do it to ensure success. The way I was raised, you don't get butter until you've milked the cow and churned the cream.
If I was twins, I'd be coming and going.
