The most dangerous planet

Having pondered the issue of space aliens visiting Planet Earth for many years, I've come to the conclusion that very few ET's (if any) have ever visited us. Why you ask? Because Earth is the most dangerous planet in this galaxy. Think about it. Everything on this planet is out to kill you, from volcanoes to viruses and various life forms, including people. If I were an ET looking for a vacation spot I'd avoid this rock at all costs. :wink: :mrgreen:

Back when I was a young'un I was big into science fiction. I forget the name of the story but it had to do with the expanding universe. The punch line was the entire universe was expanding away from planet Earth, escaping if you will. Maybe we are the most dangerous planet. :twisted:

I asked a guy who flew planes all over the Artic circle doing all kinds of electronic eavesdropping, Sam site illumination, etc.when he was in Navy Intelligence. I asked him one time over some good top shelf bourbon to spill the beans on what her knew about aliens & UFO's.

A scientist was discussing the universe with a Christian.

The scientist asked, "Do you believe there is life on another planet?"

"No," responded the Christian man.

"Don't you know the universe is limitless? There is no end to the universe. There are planets out there far beyond our solar system."

"Why would God go to all the trouble of creating the whole universe just to populate one little planet?"

The Big Bang Theory is becoming a Big Dud since it does not work at the quantum level. It's beginning to seem that the universe had no beginning and has no end, although it is constantly changing.
Back to the subject at hand, I suppose anything is possible in an infinite universe. If there are indeed intelligent aliens it would take them millions if not billions of years to get here even if they could travel at the speed of light. They had better hurry up since the expansion of the universe is accelerating and the longer they wait the longer it will take them to get here. If they do decide to make the trip to screwed up place like Earth, the level of their "intelligence" would certainly be in question.
However, the mathematical genius's have proven that there are other universes besides ours. I would be more concerned about colliding with another universe rather than being visited by aliens from our universe.

best book I ever read as to just that , is called the Twelth Planet, I seem to recall the authors name was Zachariah Zilchin (sic) and basically the early travelers stopped here, every 3500 years to take a dump and breed with the neanderthals ( or was it the wildlife)???? 8) :roll: :wink:
