I guess you missed my ". . . . .for 2016" note. :wink:

And it's the newest No. 1 I now have, from the 2013 production. I reached the point of no return a long time ago in my collection :roll: . I always think "this one is the last one", but it never is. . . . .

I got a 275 Rigby a couple weeks ago, and my beautiful wife got me the 308 RSI for Christmas.

A guy can NEVER have too many No. 1's! My collection took a pretty big hit this summer. I sold about a dozen or so...now I'm looking to bump the numbers back to where they were.

Over the last couple years I too decided to thin the herd, I got rid of a 10 pistols and 18 rifles including my 7 M-1s. My problem is a guy offered me a No1 in trade for my Remington XP100.......now I've got 6 of them and I'd like to think my "Last No1" will be a satinless laminate in a caliber I already reload for - but I doubt it will be.

Yes, that's a pretty good start, but I'm afraid you're still well in the "rank amateur" category with "only" six. :wink:

I have never had more than three No. 1 rifles at one time, but I always seem to have at least one. I just bought a No. 1B that was rebarreled to .280 Remington. I test fired it using Winchester 140-grain Ballistic Silvertip factory ammo. The first four shots I shot from a rest with it grouped 1/2-inch wide and 1-1/2-inch high. After moving the front rest back to just in front of the receiver, the second five shots I put through it went into a 1/2 inch wide by 3/4-inch high group. I believe I have a winner.

Now I am thinking about the Lipsy .35 Whelen medium sporter with the 24-inch barrel, if they actually become available, with the though that I will open it up to .358 Norma.
