I stuck these laminated grips on the ROA till I can find a set of walnut ones that fit well.

I'm not sure of the brand. Bought 'em at the Harrisburg, PA gun show yesterday.

That a steel grip frame? If not, how the heck you get it to match the rest of it so well? My old ('76) one is aluminum.

I refinished it some years ago, but by the looks of yours, I shoulda left it alone. I like the way yours turned out better. :D
 
I like the "antique" look of your Old Army. Is that bead blasted stainless steel? Or (God forbid) bead blasted blued steel?

The grips look very similar to Ruger's Rosewood Spanish Dymond Grips, except for the borders and the Screamin' Chickens.

It's blued steel, that I antiqued. I would never bead-blast it (yuck).

It used to be brown, but the brown rubbed off. :(

It has a steel (not aluminum) grip frame.
