Interesting. I will continue to watch for their progress. However, I am confident that the .gov WILL shut them down at some point, some way. It doesn't have to be legal, either - the BATF is skilled at ignoring the law to meet their goals.
 
Just a sabot round for a handgun any good reloader / machinist can make this round in their workshop. Cost would be the Tungsten carbide this is NO secret.

Might have to use a diamond wheel to form grind that material? Back in my Tooling days we used Diamond wheels for machining carbide.

Would love to see that round in .357 Magnum too!
 
Since the "armor" this is intended to penetrate is body armor, tungsten carbide is not necessary for the core. Hardened steel or even bronze fashioned as a pointed core in a sabot round should provide penetration. What a lot of hooplah about something that no one needs.
