thanks

I cringe when I see or hear American citizens ignore the needs of military heroes when illegals get royal treatment by our government.

Worse still, children of illegals can enter our military (that in itself is insane) and presumably be granted citizenship afterwards. Does that mean as citizens they'll be treated like crap afterward like our current vets are? Or will they be grandfathered in for special treatment like their parents were?

See: https://www.us-immigration.com/blog/undocumented-immigrants-to-be-allowed-to-serve-in-the-military/

Imagine our military having children of known enemies who can be indoctrinated as youngsters to anti American ideals being in the military?

Thanks to all that have served and hopefully the veteran care treatment will soon be improved
Never going to happen. Soldiers, sailors, Marines, airmen and Coasties are loved and revered when they are needed. As soon as the need goes away they are at best ignored. The pain and disabilities suffered in service to this country have always bee under served.

I actually think one reason is that those who haven't served and feel guilty don't want to be reminded of their failure to do the right thing. A vet walking on a prosthetic leg is a constant reminder of that failure. Even as late as Vietnam injured servicemen tried to cover their scars and missing limbs. Today, thank God, more of the younger folks are putting it out there for the world to see and saying you don't like seeing it, tough luck.
