I want to take the time to thank Hittman for getting me back logged in as my original user name. After the passing of my friend a very great man and my mentor Tommygun (Mr. Tom Braden) I was really taken back and did not continue with my activity here for sometime. This web site has proven to be more than just a web site but an organization of life long friends! Feels good to be back and thank-you again!

Welcome back!

Those of us who were fortunate to know Tom,,, lost a good friend. I think the tribute display in Tulsa spoke volumes about what we thought of him.

Welcome back, Tom.

Many of us miss Tommygun on a personal level. He was a great guy from the ground up. I had the pleasure of meeting him at the OGCA meetings, and we immediately became close friends, sharing our love of the Ruger firearms. In Tommy's case, he fell in lust with the Old Model .357 Flattops and Bob Campbell "adopted" him in his dedicated pursuit of a definitive collection of these fine old pieces.

That you were a friend of Tommy says a lot about you. He recognized good folks. Again, welcome back.

welcome back Tom, yes many of us miss 'tommygun', Tom and Bob C were the guys to talk with and to about the 357 old models, I still almost push the 'speed dial' the cell phone on any given trip back from a gun show to report in to them............many hours spent with both and always will 'remember', may they rest in peace.....
