I'll admit to going to sleep a few times working ground late at night. Darned near ran the combine into a tree line once.
On a serious note, an older farmer had some sort of issue(or maybe needed to drain his coffee) so he opened the cab door and stepped out on the cab platform while the tractor was moving. Something happened and he fell off under the tillage implement. This was flat big farming country and the tractor continued for quite a distance before getting hung up in a drainage ditch. Of course, the operator didn't survive and the tractor was found stuck and out of fuel next morning. This was told as a true story several years back, not something I witnessed.

I once saw the results of "sub-soilering" a natural gas pipeline. That didn't go well for the operator, either. Sub-soiler tooth must have sparked as it gouged the pipe. WHOOSH

Too much like the time a certain unnamed idiot that shall remain my brother dozed off at the wheel. Jasper County Highway department is not happy when you disk up one of their favorite gravel roads. Neither are fathers when you tear out X rod of fence and neighbors when you disk up their wheat.
