I recently designed a detachable magazine system and 5 round magazine to fit the M-77 Mk2 and Hawkeye in .308 short action variety. I'll be looking for test drivers in the near future. This is a drop-in, plug and play system. Anodized aluminum 1 piece trigger guard, milled from billet 6061T6. The magazines are steel and nitrided, center feed design. We'll be giving 4 units away for testing and all we ask in return is non-biased feedback, be it good or bad, in a timely manner. Email responses to: [email protected] Thank You, Kevin Wyatt

I wouldn't mind giving one of these a whirl, but if you ever design one for the ruger american/predator/ranch with 10 rd mags, they'd absolutely FLY off the shelves.....

Count meh in, will give you the bad the good and the ugly. From a machinist point of view.

Put me in the no. 4 slot. Designed weapons before I retired. But also worked on them as a reservist.

Initial impressions are all positive.... The BM is truly 'drop-in'. The mags are nice, but the BM is NOT AICS compatible. A plastic mag loader is included. Fit, finish and function are great. I tried/installed it on 4 rifles. MKII's and Hawkeyes, it works on the factory 2-stage trigger models, unlike the PTG (inletting needed) version. The mag release is a trigger guard mounted push-button instead of a lever. Again, funtion was fine with no unintentional mag drops. I took some pics of the unit installed on a MK II UL and a Hawkeye Predator. The loaded mag pics are 7/08 and 6.5 Creedmoor. Thumbs up, on my review. Don

A couple feeding vids....click on them.

I installed my today and it mimics what huntsman22 has posted.

It appears to be well made and I am looking forward to giving it a good workout soon.

If it works half as good as it looks I can see buying more of these. My wifes .260rem will be getting one for sure.

I had been saving up to purchase a GSR, now it looks like I just need a new barrel instead.

huntsman22, extra mags are being nitrided as we speak. Should have 100 mags in the next couple of weeks. Thanks for the testing and posting.

When can I purchase one, my .308 needs this!
I don't know if they are in full production yet, but this is the web site. I love mine and have had zero problems so far.

Just got my 2nd run of trigger guards back from being anodized. 43 magazines in stock and 200 more on the way. They should be on the website hopefully tomorrow. Thanks Huntsman 22 for all the pics and postings. Kevin

Looks Like they'll fit the 308 GSR?

I believe the BM inletting on the GSR is already too big. I think you gotta stay with the plastic, but maybe Mr. Wyatt will jump in and say for sure.

Put some more ammo thru mine, still no problems. This is a well made product.
