Tecovas Cowboy boots

I wore the cheap Army issue boots every day for too many years, then I wore Corcoran jump boots, so arthritis in my feet and plantar fasciitis, means no cowboy boots for me, usually good quality boat shoes with supple leather and orthopedic insoles, or flip flops. Ah, yes, sperry topsiders. Best. Shoe. Ever. Alas, not around heavy equipment. In another life, after a shift of patrolling in any and all weather, off with the boots and slip into my "driving shoes" for the commute.

I mostly drive a keyboard these days, so my Sperry Sea Kites are my daily wear shoes (they have more room for my orthopedic inserts, and good sturdy soles). If I’m out on a site I pull my safety boots and hard hat out of the back of the Jeep.
