takedown 10/22 & fishing kit

Just a couple of pictures showing how the rifle and fishing kit all fit in the case.

by the way, I put the little weaver rimfire classic 4x scope on it this morning and sighted it in. When I was putting it back in the case, there was plenty of room on the width but on the length, the scope sticks a little ways past the gun and you can't quite get the flap to reach the velcro. You can still put the flap over the buttstock and the case zips up fine.

Looks like a good combonation for a fun time.
Hows dose that springed rod feel in use? My pack rod breaks down in sections. Guess you would have a line in the water first.

I ordered it online at Emmrods fishing gear. I believe I paid around 60 dollars for it, but it is the best small packing rod I have found. It seems to be very high quality. They make several variations of it.

I've got the Emrod, now all I need is the Ruger! Oh and as for the Emrod reasonably decent casting and can certainly catch fish with it, not the performance of a full sized rod but plenty can be done with it.

I ordered one of the Emmrods to go with my takedown. It will work great in the overgrown places I try to fish.

Great set up, I just picked up 2 10/22 TD yesterday for my wife and I, and your post gave me some good ideas that we will use when setting up our outfits, thanks a lot, Gary. :D
