T512. Joe Bowman/Jim Triggs

Interesting T512. From what I have found out in researching this Joe Bowman was known as the Straight Shooter and from the work performed was done by James Triggs. Both had ties to the Sturm Ruger company.

I don't know if this may help,but.....I have Joe's maximum, 600-16306, 8 numbers from the very last one, 600-16314. It was roll marked on 6/19/84, manufactured and shipped in August of 1984 to the Gun Guardian Center-Houston in Stafford, Texas and it was Marked for Joe Bowman. Jack.

Love the engraving. First one I've seen with a lady engraved on it! Having met Joe a few times,, I can see his fun personality in that.

Articruger, I've been doing inventory and coming across guns I haven't seen for decades. One i really am tempted to post but it will be in one of the upcoming RCA journals so I don't want to ruin the surprise.
