I am the second owner of this New Englander. It comes with the original owner manual, a nipple wrench and a capper. 1974 manufacture. The first feller had it for several years. He let the bore get a few light spots. Nothing bad and certainly nothing that has affected accuracy, but it isn't perfect anymore and I want the buyer to be aware of all things good and bad. There are a very few light (nothing deep) places in the wood, namely the two pictured spots. One is near the buttplate on the left side in the 2nd picture, and the other is in front of the side screw (also on the left side) in the 3rd picture. IN THE 5TH PICTURE: that is not a split in the metal; that is an optical illusion of the ramrod spring looking like it is part of the barrel. Only I could take a picture and it come out looking like that! The bluing is still very nice other than around the nipple area on the barrel. As you can see there is some (very) light pitting and discoloration between the name "New Englander" and the nipple from the original owner years ago (pic 13). The barrel has a very light nick in it about 4" from the end of the barrel on the right side (pic 11). The bluing is deep and uniform throughout. The serial number is 92064. Best price I found is USPS Priority Mail. Adding insurance ($2.45) with the shipping cost ($33.05) would be a total of $35.50. California is a long ways from here, is the reason, I suppose. I broke the T/C down and individually wrapped the barrel and the stock in foam, and then packed the box with foam strips(top, bottom and ends) so that there is no room for movement in the box. The extra room required and the weight to do that may have increased the shipping price by a few dollars too, but the intent is for it to arrive undamaged. Please let me know if this works for you; also respond that it is legal for you to receive a bp rifle to your home address from an individual; or if it needs to be sent to a FFL. Thanks, Mike
