15/16" diameter. 28"/29" factory barrel. Some guys measure from the front of the barrel to the flat back where the hook begins (29"). I measure inside the barrel crown to breech (28"). Mine isn't stripped like the ones on eBay, who sell every part separately. It has an orange fiber optic front sight, the factory rear adjustable sight, and the nipple (which screws in and out easily). Also it has the brass ramrod thimbles. One has a swivel stud. Barrel is tapped and threaded for a scope. The barrel rib underneath is included Missing is the ramrod retaining spring and screw (pictured). The bore looks rough to me. I'm no expert; it might shoot straight like it is, it might need a rebore to a .52 or .54, etc... if you wanted a cheap second barrel, or it can be sleeved to the same size or a smaller caliber. I bought this rifle for a spare this past winter AFTER I had already downsized and sold my other 7 BP's, thinking I would never need them and could survive with just one. Wrong. I frontstuff hunt in Colorado every year. Last year I had a trigger lock malfunction. First ever issue I've had with any muzzleloader. It has since been repaired with NOS parts, but I will carry a spare rifle with me from now on. All I have done with this rifle is pop off a few caps, so I have no idea as to its accuracy. I bought a NOS barrel for this back up rifle. I don't want fiber optics, sling studs, or a tapped-for-scope-mount barrel on my primitive rifle (otherwise, I would have just had this one sleeved). Not knocking anyone who does like the modern accesories- that's just me and the muzzleloading experience I enjoy. I have more pics that I can send in pm's. I bought a cool little small LED drop-down-the-barrel light for the bore pics. $90 shipped for the barrel with all its pictured components. I see front/rear adjustable factory sight sets on these selling for $90 online. I'm not that greedy LOL.
