Neat looking Securuty Six crossed with a Python.

Too much $$ for this GI but, I like it.

Many years ago, a Deputy Sheriff that I worked with had one of those...It was a nice-shooting revolver that also looked pretty cool.

Another perspective: Davis took two nice revolvers ans screwed up both. jack

Funny but true IMHO. It's like taking 2 dogs and making "designer dogs" like LabraDoodles. Cute and fun, but high $'s for a mutt. I sure like the dogs more than the "designer guns", and nothing was butchered in the process

They do look VERY cool!
Back in the day when these conversions were popular I always hoped Ruger would come out with a heavy ribbed barrel with the vent cuts.
These did have a heavy influence on the cosmetic design of the GP100, too bad we never got a model with the vent rib cuts.

Didn't sell either. 8) 8)

I would be VERY surprised if it sells for $2000 when you can buy a Python AND a Security Six for the same money.

Actually, I knew that . I had a 2.5 " nickel Python rebarreled to 6" at Colts in the 70s. They returned the shorty and I sold it to someone. jack

I can't imagine it selling for 2K but not much surprises me any more. I've seen some really beat old PPC guns pulling more money than I would ever believe possible. But the worlds full of folks with more money than sense.
