These two hawks were hanging together. IDK if they are male and female or differant color phases related to age, I do know that they are pretty. Dr.C

They are beautiful, and your photography is spot on as usual. Perfect depth of field. You know, experts say that the vision of raptors such as hawks, falcons, and eagles is the equivalent of a man looking through 8- to 10-power binoculars...or better. Can you imagine?

I always loved plowing fields and have Swainson's or Red Tails, Mississippi Kites and kestrels come in close to ride the thermals off the tractor and grab mice and rabbits as they run out of the path of the tractor
