Sun Dog

We were out for a walk with the dog and about noon today, I looked up and saw this sun dog. I think that's what it's called, please correct me if I'm wrong. Pretty interesting either way.

All day long the clouds have been very pretty. I should have taken more pictures of them earlier.

Those are neat, sometimes they will just be a small section of a rainbow on the edge of a cloud.

Never seen the full circle. We see two little rainbow colored patches on each side of the sun. Usually in the winter on the coldest days.
