Im familiar with the area. I live a couple hours north. I usually stay in Rapid City. The crowds are way down last year anyway. we'll see this year. I hope antifa shows up that would be great to watch. After a couple thousand bikers spank them and send them home!

Not going this year. Have been out there 5 or 6 times and have always enjoyed the weather and the beauty of the Black Hills. We always made a point of going to the Nemo F.D. at least once each year for breakfast. Some years we stopped a couple of times.
When the estimated attendance numbers topped 500,000, I lost interest. That was at least 15 years ago. A great time but getting around became way too much of a hassle.
With the interest in H/D's slowing down now, I can see why attendance at Sturgis might slow down as well.
Anybody that has always thought they'd like to go should make the trip at least once.

I don`t ride or own a motorcycle any more. I attended the last Harley Davidson sponsored Death Valley ride about in 1967 or 1968. It was something to behold!

Out there now. Staying in Rapid City close to most of the nice areas to ride. Last night we went to the flat track races. Overall it’s been a very nice week
