Stainless LCP Max

I have seen this Max slide finish advertised as “stainless”:

• Slide Description: Savage Silver Cerakote Stainless Steel

Is that just a cerakote coating, or is the slide material itself stainless steel?
In the Ruger catalog it doesn’t seem to make that claim:

I think the Ruger description says it's ALLOY STEEL & SILVER CERAKOTE. So not stainless steel.
