SSM marked 32mag

Very desirable, Single Six 32 H&R magnum. Frame is marked SSM, of which there were less than 800 made. I have not owned this all it's life, but from what I can see it is unfired, and from lack of line on cylinder, unturned. As was common with this era, the end label from box came unglued, but is inside box, as is all paperwork. Two small marks on trigger guard, otherwise perfect.
This is serial # 650-00039, which I would say puts it as first day production. $775. shipped.
If someone would would rather have serial # 650-00020, I have that one also. But, because it comes with shipper, would be $875.

Correct me if I'm wrong, as far as I know, the SSMs were only in 6 1/2".

I have a 5 1/2" marked one and understand there others in that barrel length.
There are at least three known in 4 5/8". A 9 1/2" has never been seen!

Yes, I have a 5.5" SSM-marked but it is a 3-digit. I had the chance to buy two of the three 4-5/8" guns but snoozed too long on one and was chasing too much other stuff to afford the other.

According to Chad's book, 3 known in 4 5/8 are 00030, 00042, and 00108.

Yes this one is 108 It has a Proto type grip frame Made of Steel

Hey Don, 108 is the one I snoozed too long on (FB's collection).

30 is the other one I could have had (ST's collection) but couldn't afford due to buying too many of his other guns. It also had a steel grip frame IIRC.
